2024 Annual Report
Cultural diversity, World heritage/intangible cultural heritage/regional cultural properties, International understanding, Poverty
Activity Field 1 “Global citizenship education, culture of peace and non-violence”
Up until now, we have been implementing a glocal leader development program, in which we have learned about the world based on the SDGs, while also thinking about our own region. We will continue to develop this event along with lectures on the culture of peace and non-violence that we have held so far.
Activity field 2 “sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles”
At our school, we have been conducting exploratory learning activities to learn about and utilize the SDGs during comprehensive study time. Additionally, this year, we conducted a problem-solving overseas training course in Cambodia as part of the certain course. Through thiose activities, we will continue learning activities to think about the state of society not only in Japan but around the world.
Activity field 3 “intercultural learning, understanding and respecting cultural diversity and cultural heritage”
By using the study abroad program and inviting high school students from overseas to interact with each other, it was a valuable opportunity to experience different cultures and think about cultural diversity. We will continue to do this in the future.
Annual Work Plan
In 2025, we plan to continue our activities based on last year. We will continue to collaborate with Puil Foreign Language High School in South Korea and Fuxing Senior High School in Taiwan. Overseas training will include training in New Zealand and Cebu Island in Phillipines. Additionally, starting this year, one of the school course (the Bunri Tankyu Course) is conducting problem-solving training in Cambodia. We plan to continue providing problem-solving training in Asia from next year onwards.
