Sustainable Development) activities around the world, is now open for applications.<\/p>\n<p>Okayama City, Japan and the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board\u203b are calling for initiatives that contribute to the spread of ESD in local communities around the world and serve as models of good practice.\u00a0 Projects that educate and develop people to learn from each other and take actions to create a sustainable society from various perspectives, such as environmental protection, community development, inheritance of traditional culture, diversity and inclusion, and more, are welcome.<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbEligibility: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ESD projects that have been implemented for more than 2 years by organizations anywhere in the world<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbNumber of Awards:\u00a0 One or Two project(s)<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbPrize: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 US $3,000 each<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbApplication Deadline: 31 May 2025 (Saturday), 5pm\u3000(Japan Standard Time) *Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbAward Ceremony: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 One representative of the organization(s) implementing the winning project(s) will be invited to attend the ESD Okayama Award 2025 Ceremony in Okayama, Japan and will be asked to make a presentation about the project.\u00a0 The Award Ceremony, scheduled for 21 October 2025 (Tuesday), will be held in conjunction with the 14th Global RCE Conference in Okayama City (hosted by the United Nations University the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board\u203b since 2015, with the aim of honoring excellent examples of ESD in Japan and abroad, thereby supporting the activities of the award-winning project organizations and contributing to the spread of ESD activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u203bThe ESD Okayama Award Steering Board is composed of the following organizations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>United Nations
